Baume et Mercier was founded in 1830. It is owned by the Richemont group of luxury companies. In 1912, William Baume met the watchmaker and jeweler Paul Mercier watch in Geneva and Jeweleg shop in Haas. The meeting led to the signing of an agreement on November 26, 1918 for the creation of Baume et Mercier in Geneva. This has shown that it is a great corporate success, and in 1921 the areas Poinc de Geneve, the official recognition of impeccable quality products were assigned. Watches dates back to this period are now rare collectible pieces. Today, Baume et Mercier is recognized all over the world for his luxury watches that fall into four collections-Line, Classima, Hampton and Capeland.
